Bethany Gonzalez

Bethany Gonzalez is the Associate Director for Military-Affiliated Services at Appalachian State University. A proud App State alumna and Western North Carolina native, she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Education (2016) and Master’s degree in Higher Education (2022) from Appalachian State.

With a strong background in student support and advocacy, Bethany previously worked in the Office of Diversity, where she focused on fostering inclusive campus initiatives. She later transitioned to the Office of Student Veteran Services, where she continues to champion the success of military-affiliated students by providing resources, guidance, and community engagement opportunities.

Passionate about student success, Bethany is dedicated to helping military-affiliated students navigate their academic journeys and thrive at Appalachian State.
