If you’re using VA benefits and attending classes at 3/4 time or higher on an in-person campus, you may be eligible to apply for a VA work-study position. Dependents can also qualify for work-study. Common VA work-study positions are:
- Administrative positions
- Customer service positions
- Event planning and coordination positions
If you are a higher-level undergraduate (junior/senior) or graduate student with eligibility for VA work-study, you are able to apply for a work-study Advisor Assistant role.
Common Advisor Assistant tasks are:
- Website management
- Large-scale event planning and coordination
- Co-advisor for SALUTE Honor Society or Student Veterans Association chapters
- Access to enrollment verifications and certifications with departmental approval
