Mark and Mimi Ross Scholarship for Military Mountaineers

The Mark and Mimi Ross Scholarship for Military Mountaineers was established to provide financial assistance to student veterans to attend Appalachian State University. This scholarship program awards one $5000 scholarship per year based on the eligibility criteria below.

Eligibility

• Veteran must be honorably discharged from any U.S. Armed Service and must provide proof of discharge status
• Veteran must be an undergraduate student who possesses a minimum 2.0 GPA
• Veteran must demostrate a need for financial assistance (tuition and fees and/or room and board)
• Preference given to North Carolina residents
