Heroes Week 2024

Heroes Week 2024 Schedule of Events

Veterans Week events will be held at multiple locations on the App State campus and throughout Boone from Friday, Nov. 1, through Monday, Nov. 11.

Friday, Nov. 1

  • Military Mountaineer Homecoming Join us for an evening of fellowship and fun from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Atrium of Leon Levine Hall. We’ll be hosting a silent auction to support the Student Veteran Emergency Fund, a crucial resource that provides immediate financial assistance to our student veterans in times of unexpected crisis.

In the wake of Hurricane Helene, many of our student veterans have faced significant challenges, from housing damage to the loss of personal belongings. The Emergency Fund helps bridge the gap for those affected, offering aid for essentials like temporary housing, food, and other urgent needs.

Appetizers will be served as we gather to support this important cause and ensure our student veterans have the resources they need to overcome these hardships. We look forward to seeing you there!
