My family has served in the military since the revolutionary war. My dad and his brother both served in Korea. My dad and brother served in the Navy. My oldest brother and myself served in the Marine Corps. All three of us served at the same time from 1980 to 1984. My oldest brother served 20 years. I have numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews who served or are currently serving. I wouldn't trade my military service for anything. I highly recommend military service to anyone who is unsure of what career they want to pursue. They can still attend college during or after there tour of duty and the military helps cover the cost.
