My time in the service taught me to be self-driven, strategic, self-sufficient and to think about issues from 5,000 ft., honor, respect and selfless sacrifice. It made me into the man I am today. I was trained as a Combat Lifesaver, to suture, start IV’s and care for my fellow soldier. This Combat Lifesaver experience ultimately led me to becoming a nurse.
For this I will always be grateful!
